I saw them at the Tournament Formerly Known As the Carolina Soccer Classic which is now some chicken finger tournament.
They lost to St. Joseph's (a 1A school) 2-0. Lexington is one of the largest schools in the state who probably has 10-1 in numbers of students to St. Joseph's. Considering that many people have touted them as the finalist for 4A Lower State, that's inexcusable. Especially, for a team from the prestigious community of The Lake.
Northwestern and Lexington don't matter.. They're not gonna make it to state so all of this arguing doesn't matter. It's gonna be a Irmo vs. Wando final. Northwestern and Lexington haven't shown enough to be contenders this year.
I think WK is going to take it all this season. Strong performance last night against RV.

Cesc, NHS needs a lot to work on but Coach Wren will get them there. Not a very good game for NHS. But as you know, WE "NHS" always have a target on our back.

funny how wando had the same result against NW earlier. yes both teams have a ways to go but I wouldn't count Wando taking lower state as easily as they're predicted to.
never underestimate coach wren, they will have a much better performance against riverside. and this will be a learning game for them... $20 on NW going unbeaten from here on
Im tired of hearing about that team from Lexington! Yes they did beat Northwestern, but it was a poorly officiated game. The ref was clearly calling stuff for Lexington. Lexington's defense is very weak, slow on the outsides and poor technically in the middle.Irmo will easily put 4 or 5 away in the first half it wont even be a game

Lexington fans wow... Playing Irmo and Northwestern don't even matter if you guys can't even get past Wando. A 5-2 loss won't cut it in lower state finals. So all this Irmo and Northwestern against Lexington is just a waste of time.
