Todays final match, for 5th place, will see the Timber Wolves of Norman North wearing all white against the Warriors of Riverside in all blue. Norman North will be attacking the west end of the Cage, Riverside obviously the east.
Wow, and NN will jump on Riverside quickly as we see a goal at the 1 minute mark!
I'll bet this isnt the first time some Okies have been in a fight with some warriors! But if history tells us anything those boys from Oklahoma will win again.
That first goal for NN was struck by Josh Phillips.
Here in the 11th minute we have another Timberwolves goal by Brandon Little Axe, he really scalped that one!
Holy Cow! Is that a polar bear in pants over there??
and now ten minutes later, NN will net another! Making the score Norman North 3-0 Riverside
OH NO! ANOTHER GOAL FOR NORMAN NORTH! 4-0 IN THE 25TH MINUTE!!
Reruns of Cake Boss!
Here is the half, with NN beating up a seniorless Riverside squad! Word is the seniors would rather be somewhere else.
What's in the box? what's in the box?
Now to start the 2nd period.....and we have a shot off by NN! Imagine that, these boys will not go home empty handed, actually they will. But it will feel good to finish with a win.
well, another goal by the Timberwolves in the 33rd minute stretches the lead to 5.
Palmetto Cup, day 4
In the 44th minute we have a free kick for Riverside who rips it into the back of the net from 25 yards out! New score riverside 1-5 Norman North
But now we have Norman North taking it back! GOAL!
JEEZ another goal! Norman North 7-1 Riverside
OH NO!!!!!!!!!!! Riverside is getting their arses handed to them here today!! Another goal for NN makes the score 8-1
Oh no, here in the final minute the Warriors will try to knot this up with a second goal! Now only 6 more!
Thats the match, with the Timberwolves finishing the tournament in 5th place!
Guessing the Riverside boys just do not care about being 5 vs 6th but Norman came a long way to lose to some "lesser" (read not #3 in country worthy) teams and wants to salvage what they can in the end.
Congratulations to Norman, where was this caliber play when they played CN? Did they finally get use to the field size?
