Congratulations to Senior standout Herbert Cojulun, scoring 3 goals in the first 2:39 of the match to tie the B-C record of 99 goals during his career. In doing so, he becomes the school's all-time leading goal scorer on the night that previous record-holder Troy Lesesne is recognized as the program's first school Hall of Fame inductee. Congratulations, Herbert, on an outstanding career thus far!

Congrats Troy on a great career. Played with and against and he was a great player, teammate, and leader. Good luck with the Cougars.
Congrats also to Herbert. Had the pleasure of seeing him play a couple years ago. Excellent player and I'm sure Coach Heise has turned him into a great man as well. Go get number 101.

0-0 at the 60 minute mark but hey, that is why they are the defending state champions. My boys left everything out there and I am very proud of the effort.

Congratulations to JL Mann for their first Region 1 championship!

There are a few games left but the playoff picture is pretty clear for Region 1 AAAA:

1. JL Mann
2. Greenwood
3. TL Hanna
4. Easley
5. Laurens or Hillcrest

Now who we play is still very much up for grabs as Region 2 is far from settled.

Guessing our guys figured a playoff spot was locked up because there was little effort tonight. Credit to Spt though, they played a good game. We will finish 3rd or 4th depending on Mauldin/Riverside result on Thurs.

I think they won the Region last year also-
If you are referring to JL Mann, this is the first year in Region 1, thus their first Region 1 championship. But let's be honest...the region doesn't matter.

I know referees get trashed on here, and we all have our own issues....

However, I suggest that all referee assignors get a copy of tonight's AMHS v. Wando game and send it out to all refs as an example of "how high level high school soccer should be refereed".
