NIKE Palmetto Cup - 2023 Information

When: 2023 dates are April 11-13 (Easter Sunday is April 9)

Where: Saluda Shoals Athletic Complex - 6071 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29212

Who: All HS boys and girls varsity teams are welcome to participate, but we plan to field a 12-team boys tourney and an 8-team girls tourney.

Format: Each team will play three matches (one per day) and a champion will be determined via point system.

Cost: $475 per team. If both the boys and girls teams attend, then the entry fee will be reduced $50 per team or $100 total. Entry fee is due December 1, 2022.

Shirts: Each team has the option to purchase a tourney shirt at $18 each. The shirt order form is due March 13, 2023. Shirts may be paid via check in advance or on-site at check-in. Make sure to list the sizes for your coaches, players, etc. Shirt orders are NOT mandatory.

NIKE Palmetto Cup Update - 1 Boys & 1 Girls Team Needed - FREE Entry.

Do you need a match on either April 11, 12, or 13? If so, we can offer you the opportunity to play the following opponent on the following date at the Saluda Shoals Complex in Columbia -- you do not have to be available for the entire tourney. Just trying to do whatever we can to fill the spots. Times can be altered if needed.

These games are part of the NIKE Palmetto Cup at Saluda Shoals Park in Columbia, but you do not have to "play" in the tournament, simply fill a game spot (one of your 26 allowed). J.L. Mann and Hammond are helping us fill the void, but we still need some games on 4/12 & 4/13.

Pendleton HS has withdrawn from the 2023 NIKE Palmetto Cup. If you are available to replace them for FREE (no entry fee) during the April 11-13 dates at the Saluda Shoals Soccer Complex in Columbia, please contact me ASAP at kheise@grayca.com. We can also offer the opportunity for a single game if that works better for you. We just need the slots filled.
