how many teams are in the one A playoff bracket?

I'm pretty sure it's 16 (8 for both upperstate and lowerstate). So teams are seeded 1-8.

It's seeded to have 16 teams....but sometimes some teams don't play, so the upper seeds get to have byes.

Yeah the number 1 and 2 seeds from upper and lower state should have a bye
