Who really cares about batesburg, spring valley, etc.
You all know that Northwestern is going to be in the final.

Yeah, Northwestern may get there because they don't have to play the good teams. Not there fault, but there are some crap teams in their bracket. In fact they may have played a total of four good teams all year.

Although this statment may be correct, this is coming from a person who doesn't even know who they were playing tonight. A real expert if there ever was one.

Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:01 AM
NWP needs to be quiet until nhs plays a good team and then he can post
Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:05 AM
Does no one know anything about SF and FD
Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:08 AM
NWP:

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You've officially been named the biggest dumba** on this board...a title not too easy to come by i might add...its gonna be great seein Irmo, Wando, or SA hand your balls to you on a platter....
Posted By: scsoccermann Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:08 AM
Midfielder #10. You are right on about Northwestern. They won't have to play even a good team until the regional final and state championship if they get to either one. Can you say overrated.
Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:10 AM
i dont think they are overated i just think that nhs cant start talkin about winnin everything until they play a good team like mauldin or greenwood
Posted By: scsoccermann Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:12 AM
I really don't consider Maulden or Greenwood a good team. They are both an average team.
Posted By: green eggs and ham Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:13 AM
Im assuming the person from Northwestern is not with the team. I have never known a player or coach from Northwestern to make such disrespectful remarks. The coach up at Northwestern, Nick Finotti, is a real stand up guy and wouldn't stand for that. Thats one of the reasons that you rarely see a lot about Northwestern on the board.
Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:13 AM
yeah but they r more of a challenge than easley....all that matters really is who is left at the end...we will see if nhs can make it
Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:14 AM
when they play good they can hang with anyone, and an average team is the kind of team that will catch NW if they are being lax
Posted By: tigerman Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:14 AM
does anyone know the score for the south florence/fort dorchester game?
Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:18 AM
South Florence3 Fort Dorchester 2

Over time and then to PK's
Only one of our players missed their PK and our keeper stopped one...Fort Dorchester also missed a PK which brought us to our win...Well played game! Wish the refs saw more calls though....
Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:19 AM
SA 4 - Boiling Springs 0, pretty sure thats correct
Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:22 AM
scsoccermann, who did hartsville play?
Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:23 AM
SA had 4, Jamal scored, then he scored again, and again and oh yes again. Mike G. let none in the net and the team as a whole passed the ball all over the place.
Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:28 AM
Well that goes hand in hand with the "Jamal Sucks" thread on the board.....This kid is sick and when it is all said and done will be one of the top 5 players to come out of SC EVER!!!!!

Go T breds!!!!

I still take J over Tomeck.

Ladies,
chill out. It is just a message board. I am not associated with northwestern. I am simply pointing out that they Are 19-0-1 this year with some impressive wins over some good teams. You can also not deny their record in the post season over the last couple of years.

What???!!!! You damn skippy ain't no doubt!!!

Not to forget Temoc Suarez.....those three WORD!@!!

Who are u N.W.P? nwhs is 23-1 by the way
Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:39 AM
close enough...besides 23-1 is even more impressive than 19-1. just furthers my point even if my numbers are admittedly incorrect.
Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:40 AM
where did all that cesa go at hilcrest?????

that's NA w/out bafour right??? Guess CESA doesn't have all the top coaches in SC? Good Job Spinks!
Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 02:41 AM
I do believe that wando, irmo, spring valley are all quality programs--especially irmo. however, i think that everyone needs to keep things in perspective. this is a message board and i am just screwing with you guys to give you something else to talk about. i really don't care who wins the matches as long as there is quality soccer being played.

Gwood 4-0 over york

Hey Stroke,

..looks like your predicition for Eastside was a bit ambitious..and what do you know..my guys even put one in against the almighty CESA squad (..though it was probably against their D team)..regardless..they denied the goose egg.

In other news.. my airport/bluffton prediction was dead on.. Let's get some details on these matches..

Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 03:06 AM
Pendleton 14
Chapman 0

Pendleton scored 16 seconds into the game and led at halftime 8-0. Chapman seemed to be playing with four forwards and just two midfielders to go along with their flatback four. Five different goal scorers, three of which had hatricks and another added two. Game was actually cut short probably 15 minutes or so.

Anyone know the Indian Land Buford score or the Bamberg-Ehrhardt Branchville score
Posted By: Bruticus Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/04/05 04:12 AM
IL 2
Buford 3 (2-1 PKs)

Buford was up 2-0 in the first half and let up in the second. IL keeper is one to watch. He made some amazing saves.

Onward to our "reward"...Christchurch.

Bamberg 3 - Branchville 0
Posted By: Realist Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/05/05 11:14 AM
You guys that are putting NW down obviously have not seen them play. I've had the opportunity to see them play 5 times this season and they are a complete team. They play solid defense and put enormous pressure on the ball. Their midfield distributes the ball very well, and they have a very talented finisher up front in Arroyo. NW will be tough for Irmo, Wando, S Aiken or whoever they should match up against.
Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/05/05 12:26 PM
Realist, while I am not completely up on you and the other posters from the rock hill area, I could have sworn that you were on here before picking against them? Now, you are on here in their defense?
Posted By: Realist Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/05/05 05:53 PM
True, I'm not a NW fan so to say, but I have not said anything against this team. They are by far the best team I've seen this season, and I've seen quite a few though mostly upstate teams. I would love to see the NW vs Mauldin match this evening but will be at the B B King concert instead. I'm not sure when the Upstate Championship match will be played, but if NW is in it, count me there.
Posted By: Anonymous Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/05/05 05:59 PM
Fair enough Realist. While that may be a decent game tonight, the best game, in my opinion, will be the irmo/summerville match, which is where I will be. I will take the little one over to see a good match and earn some points at the same time!
Posted By: Realist Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/05/05 07:44 PM
Yes, that should be a great match. I wish I had the opportunity to see more teams from other parts of the state, but that's what the playoffs are all about I guess.
Posted By: soccerislife13 Re: First Round (5/3) - 05/06/05 01:54 AM
Does anybody have any thoughts on the players from Wren? I think they have good potential for next year. I know they have a good midfielder ,in number 13, and a good stopper in number 22. Does anybody have any comments on these two players or others that are returning players.
