At the beginning of the season we started with many of our key players missing: Our sweeper, our left fullback, 2 midfielders, and our striker. Now that we have them back be have won 4 games in a row. We had a terrible start in the warhorse classic but are rebounding nicely. We look to gain so much needed respect and we are a real contender in 1A.
what is blackville-hildas record so far this year
We are 4-4. We lost four straight games in the Warhorse Classic(4 starters still involved in Basketball) and we won 4 straight games at full strength
Only way you guys will earn the respect that you want is in the playoffs. Your 4 games that you have won in a row are against terrible teams, I mean come on (Hunter-Kinard-Tyler, Williston-Elko, Bamberg-Ehrhardt, Wagener-Salley). Then to top it off, you guys probably have the weakest schedule in the competitve 1A teams (teams that actually play a full schedule every year). But...you never know, so good luck to you guys.
who was the wins against?
I feel that we are playing two very decent teams this week in Swansea and Silver Bluff. We will see what takes place this week.
yes. we will. good luck to you guys on thursday.
What happen in the Lincoln game against Pinewood Prep.?? I know they are a good team but didn't expect you guys to loose 8-1.
well a couple of our players were missing for different reasons so jv players had to fill the positions and it just wasnt our night and we had no team chemistry we didnt play like ourselves and ended up losing big
lethalfeet06.....Let me break this down even further for you and Blackville-Hilda. Silver Bluff's record is 6-4 with wins against teams that have a combined W/L record of 5-37 and Swansea a team with a record of 2-7 with wins against teams that have a combined W/L record of 1-20-1. These are suppose to be the "two very decent teams" you play. Again, since these are your two hardest games of the season you will only earn respect by beating teams in the playoffs when it counts. You guys need to schedule stronger games. No excuses, all 1A programs deal with the same problems (location, money, travel, etc...)
