congrats to northwestern, but how are they not #1??? they have a lot more wins than the school ahead of them!!!

It's because the poll is completely based off of win percentage. I mean arent coaches in VA and TN and so on voting for this polls. It is highly unlikely they have ever seen these team play so it is just based off of win percentage.

The NSCAA recognizes that the national rankings are not necessarily a true reflection of the relative strengths and weaknesses of the teams involved due to the lack of inter-regional play, diverse playing seasons and other important factors and conditions.

still how is northwestern not #1 they have beaten everybody they played except one team in a tourney!!!

CBHS beat Farragut 3-0, but that is the only comparable result between NW and the two schools above them that I could find.
