My hat's off to Hammond for giving a valiant effort in what surely has been a very dificult week. Both teams were lethargic in the first half, but the game picked up in intensity in the second half and the winner came with just a few minutes remaining.

Good luck to all SCISA and SCHSL teams as they go forward in the playoffs.
