This is region anyways. Not the nation so it isn't quite as bad as you think.

I'm not positive but probably all the states in the southeast are in this region. But since all of the states don't play in the spring then you limit it to I am guessing Tennessee, Virginia, and South Carolina. It is just like in club soccer where there are four different regions.

Good "guess". The very first line of this thread, in the Heise post, says SC-TN-VA. The title is Region I Top 10 Poll, implying multiple regions of which these three states are in number 1.

What baffles me is that there are four or five people failing to grasp this, not just the usual morons.
