As a proud former Riverside player, I would like to extend my utmost congratulations to BOTH the Riverside boys and girls teams on their state championships!! It is nice to see that everything in the universe is in order again as RHS takes both 3A championships!!

Can anybody explain how Riverside went to PKs in the first round of the playoffs against Travelers Rest? What the heck happened?

Travelers Rest packed it in and Riverside was looking beyond them. TR scored off of a corner to tie with 15 minutes to play. TR's coach had a good game plan and it was frustrating the Riverside players, and they were struggling with finishing the ball.
