Dominate? Doesn't the road to Stone Stadium go thru Irmo now? Trading OW for Irmo in the region may get you a better Massey ranking on schedule but the rural side of the dam has a lot of work to do before you can talk like that. No disrespect but you guys gotta figure out how to get the ball in the net first.

Umm as i understand it the rural side of the dam beat Irmo this year?? correct me if im wrong... and a question how many seniors does Irmo lose?

I belive SCSKEEPER is correct on this one. A little early. Of course funny to read! Lexington will have another great year from what I can tell And Irmo always finds a way to win. 2007 Should be just as good as this year if not better. More kids going to camp. New coaches coming in. Who knows what the season will hold for any team. That is the best part about High School soccer. It is about Pride not Money. So talk up your teams then prove it on the feild. Good luck to all in the off season.

irmo better than lexington? explain that one. they weren't this year and won't be next year. better overall program, yes, but not this year or next year. what are you trying to say?

its just some irmo (fan, player, parent) being typical irmo (fan, player, parent) running their mouth with no facts. i mean i could say vanderbilt has a great football program that doesnt mean its right unless i back it up with facts and stats. i do agree irmo has had a amazing program over the last decade but give lex some credit they had and outstanding year and look to do the same next year. plus they beat irmo so as of right now they are the better team untill irmo beats them again.

Coach Phil from Irmo is an outstanding coach and an outstanding person. I had the chance of coaching is little girl gymnastics when she was younger and playing soccer at Lexington I would say I did not like coach Phil much at all. After I actually met the man and talked to him I have changed my mind. I respect him and his program, but I support Lexington. Lexington did win this past year and I truly believe and hope they do the same next year. Don't know much about the coach at Lexington but from what I can see he is doing an outstanding job. So my vote goes with Lexington being the better team this year, but a lot more wins will prove them to be the better program. Need to see what happens in the years to come. Irmo has already proven themselves.

As far as liking little girls. You might want to ask other coaches how they think of their students. Sorry I did not grow up in your house, so I do not know what it is like to think if someone works with little girls then they must be molesting them. Sounds like a problem you need to take to a psychologist. In my world student are kids that you have the honor of coaching. Hoping that you might have made an impact in forming them into a great adult. Overdue yes, but I'm not sure how long. I believe there has been a shift in his posting following the rants of a coach concerning the selections of all whatever teams. Proof, in my opinion, that coaches have influence over kids, and not always the what most would consider good influence.

SCS, college scholarship offer is not the only definition of a "quality" player.

Really I hope he at least plays for a decent team. A guy like this better be playing for an outstanding team because the college that gave him a scholarship is not much of a team. Oh and to clear another thing up. I coached Cheerleading and gymnastics. I played Soccer. If you look at other post you will find out that I did not play soccer in the USA until I played for Lexington. My college years I play over in England. Also obviously I still play and follow a few teams in South Carolina or I would not even be on here. Anyways I am sorry anyone ever had to read anything sckeeper ever wrote. I am also sorry anyone ever had to play on this guy's team. People like him are why other still makes fun of soccer players. I hope USCNG knows what they are getting next year. Maybe Chad Gfeller or Nick Garilas should know what kind of kid they are getting. I would'nt exactly call any school in SC a rinky-dink college if you can go play soccer and get a college degree. From what I understand NGU is not that bad. They have a brand new facility and it is right outside of Greenville. SCKeeper is an idoit! SCKeeper won't even get any minutes!! Lets get real Keeper your scholarship is only about $500 for both semester.

Legend, Yes I had the honor of playing this great game with a travel team while attending the University of Westminster. Ever have the chance I would say go for it. Soccer over there is so much different. Hard to switch back to American style. Lets just say the last league I was with did not like it much at all because over there you fight all the way for the ball and over here they consider it unsportsmanlike like. Whatever! Anyways I would say take a chance and go play in another country. Great times.

North Greenville isn't good (I think). I know some players who play for them (who actually get a lot of playing time) who are awful.
