I am a BL Alumni and have been out of state for the last two years. What has happened to them? They would usually be in the top 3 or 4 teams in SCISA. Looking back at the last three seasons it seems that they have steadily declined from the 06 Season.

I'm not sure what you mean about declining from the 06 season. Ben Lippen was in the State Championship last year (2007). This year they have had a rough start but they are a young squad with only 2 seniors, they should not be counted out this year although they will have to work harder then they have had to in the past to make it to the Championship game. I'm not sure why this year they are ranked lower then some teams like OP but they are definately better then the rankings give them credit for.

Not that it really matters, but....

Ben Lippen was in the Championship game in 04, lost in the second round of the playoffs in 05, in the Championship game in 06, and lost in the first round of the playoffs in 07, and appears to be fighting it out to make it to the playoffs this year.
