"Pink on the Pitch" - 03/31/10 03:50 PM
The Stratford Boys and Girls Varsity teams are hosting the first annual "Pink on the Pitch" match to "Kick out against Cancer" on Thursday, April 1st against the Goose Creek Gators.
The girls game will kick off at 5:30pm with a special ceremony between games honoring some local teachers and citizens that have battled or are currently battling breast cancer.
The boys and girls teams will be wearing pink shirts in honor of breast cancer awareness. During the game, $1 raffle tickets will be sold with all the proceeds going to Relay for Life of Goose Creek.
Please come out and support soccer for a good cause.
