The won-lost-tied records in this post must be incorrect. For example, Wando tied Dreher, so how could they be 3-1-0? Dreher lost to Aiken, so
how could they be 0-0-2? And how could Aiken be
0-1-2 if they beat Dreher?

what happened to hilcrest? did they decide not to attend?

Hillcrest had too many sick players on Thursday. They decided to stay home and get well rather than play the Viking Cup.

Why didn't they pull up JV members when they knew it would end up that way. It would have been great for the younger girls to get that experience but it would keep the tourny going smoothly.
What was the score of Hillcrest and Greenville?
What happened to Lindsey Beam (Riverside)? Did she have a bad Tournament or has she elected to play club or did everyone else just have a tremendous Tourney?

She was not there and was not listed on the team info for riverside.
Is Beam playing at Riverside this spring? If not, it sickens me that she was named the Gatorade award winner. If she is playing at RHS, then it is rightly deserved. But, no player not playing high school soccer should receive national and regional honors from this state, IMO.

I agree with that. She is a great soccer player but if she is not playing high school soccer there are plenty of other girls that deserve that honor. Does anyone know the guidelines for that award?
