All the details aren't hammered out yet but I'd like to nominate James Island (Region 7, 3rd)for easiest promenade to the third round. Beware the Trojans -- a tidal wave of talent waiting for the right atol to overwhelm. Any other thoughts on the pairings?

Because Wando failed to make up their Summerville game, they can not be placed as #1 in LS since WA won tonight. But JI should now be placed as 3rd in LS

I didn't think the Summerville against Wando game missed mattered since it was out of region. I figured West Ashley as #1 in Region 7 based on one region loss only and only 6 total region goals given up. Wando and WA split on the year, but Wando still has the opportunity to lose to JI on Thursday (since meteorological conditions were too adverse to safely play soccer east of the Cooper last Friday), but even if they win they have one more Region 7 goal given up. Doesn't really matter. Wando is the dragon and you either have to cut off the dragon's head and step over it or get burned up in the dragon's fire to get to state. Remember what I always say: Make a difference.

Even if Wando were to lose they would finish 2 in Region. You are right in JI will have easier than most #3 seeds due to weak Socastee as #1 out of their Region.

Anybody know how 3rd will be determined in Region 3 Northwestern/Fort Mill. Thanks for your help
Does any one know the proceedure for seeding the AA/A lower state bracket?
WHHS, how about checking with your AD and then reporting back here for all of us to view? Just a thought about someone having a little initiative!
Ron, no need to worry. Aiken is playing it's best soccer of the year it seems! It's all about being a Newberry Alumni
