Chapin game was moved to the 14th. Chapin won the game 5-0. Hartsville is very young. I believe the coach told me they graduated 9 seniors last year and the club program folded, so the coach is very much starting from scratch. The keeper for Hartsville was very good and stopped a lot of very good shots. I also was impressed that Hartsville never gave up and didn't seem to get frustrated by their lack of offense. They will grow up quickly and will be a much better team next year.

I was very happy with the way Chapin passed the ball. We have all the basketball players back so we actually fielded 19 players, with only one player out due to illness. The defense for Chapin played very well. Ridgeview tomorrow will be a very big test for Chapin. We seem to play Ridgeview every year in the first round of the cup and every year they smoke us. Chapin is still very young but this is the best fundemental girls soccer team Chapin has ever fielded. The only problem is that BC, Dreher and Airport are doing the same.

Yes as of what i know Hartsville graduated their leading scorer and a couple of other good players. Thats good that the team didn't give up. I dont think most people like it when a team decides that they aren't going to win so they eventually give up. i give them credit for that. Good luck with the Riverside game Chapindad!

Congratulations go out to Kimi who had a very busy Monday. First she signed with Erskine College (sorry I wasn't there Kimi, I have my grad classes on Mondays) then followed that exciting moment with a very strong performance against Daniel.

Congratulations Kimi!!!

thank you captian... as for you Anderson.. we play them next saturday at the Hanna soccer tournment. This being your second year i'm very proud of the girls.... we have many new girls that came out this year because they heard how much fun it is.... and they are really beneficial to our team... we have a new girl that just moved her and she will help our fowards a lot... we lost many great players from last year including our sweeper but we have trained a new one and she is doing great back there.... as always our keeper is awesome... and we also gained another club player.. so to answer your question i dont know who will win...daniel has a strong team and as our coach said the day after we wanted to win we didnt let down we fought to the end.... and thats what we will do next saturday and hopefully will come out with a win... GO DOGS
