I was in Laurens but our JV coach told me the girl's halftime score was 1-0 and very competetive...the second half was not as close.

Lexington had more chances than Aiken, but neither team could get it in the net. Aiken's keeper made one great save on a free kick and otherwise always seemed to be in the right place to make the stops look easy.

You guys played us tough both games, Coach. We are still a work in progrees and I am earning every bit of my ten cents an hour teaching the new ones, but thanks for the accolades. Their next game should be a good one. On Monday, 3/23, they play Dent MS who beat E L Wright 8-0. Both teams have quite a few Columbia United select players. I believe the BMS girls' team has 13 CUFC select players.

I thought they didn't do OT or PK's on jv games....

It's not required (no playoffs picture to determine) and officials can waive it if there is a varsity match to follow with a start time that needs to be met. If it is a JV-only night, though, OT and PKs if necessary usually resolve a tie.
