The Cheerwine Warrior Classic presented by E.L. Wright will be held March 4-5, 2011 at on the campus of E.L. Wright Middle School. We are looking for 2-4 more JV or middle school teams to complete the field.

Tourney Information
• The entry fee is $175 per team. Payment is due by Friday, Jan. 14, 2011.
• Each team will play a guaranteed three games.
• Each game will have 20-minute halves with a 10-minute intermission.
• There will be no overtime in pool play. In championship game, if the game ends in a tie, there will be two five-minute periods. If the game is still tied, a shootout will be used until a winner is crowned.
• The team that wins the championship game will be awarded a trophy immediately following the game.

Brookland-Cayce captured the Cheerwine Warrior Classic with a 4-0-0 mark this weekend. The Bearcats defeated E.L. Wright 4-2 in the title match.

Congrats to the Bearcats for winning the boys tournament and to Providence for winning the first girls division championship. Thank you to all of the teams that came out and help make this successful.
