FDHS Boys JV 3
Acad. Magnent 2

They scored one on a PK and one on the back-up keeper. Shouldn't have been that close, we had too many missed chances. They have a great forward (number 13). They're field is horrible, just to let anyone know. Fairly well played game on both sides, just sloppy....it is Monday after all!

Wando Boys and Girls handily beat Hilton Head on Thursday night . Do not know final scores.
The HH Boys goalie did an excellent job. Stopped 10 or more shots with athletic saves.
It could have been much worse.

Summerville and Wando meet on Monday at 6:30 in Summerville. But Summerville is in big trouble the just lost their big man who is also their leading scorer, their top playmaker midfielder and sweeper to the varsity. Why now couldn't they wait until Tuesday. Summervilles JV's heads might me low but i hope that they will still battle hard.

Where is the Creech kid playing?

The Summerville - Wando match will be a good one, no matter what. Wando has some great players who have played on strong club teams. But neither team can afford to underestimate the other. Hopefully there won't be any excuses, just good soccer.

A serious question for the Summerville crew....what happened at the P-G game? Are they that good or just a lot of missed shots? PG usually does not have that strong of a JV program to keep Summerville out of it to OT. Just wondering. NOTHING AGAINST P-G OR SUMMERVILLE!! I hope it was a well played game on both sides!

FtDJV, PG packed everyone into their own 18. And S'ville missed LOTS of chances with some beautiful crosses and thru-balls that weren't converted. S'ville controlled the entire match. The sick nasty bicycle kick goal broke it open.

Thursday 3/25
Girls Wando 6 - Hilton Head 0

Boys Wando 2 - Hilton Head 0

Wando was on their game and Hilton Head was mission players who moved up to the varsity. Great play by the Hilton Head keeper kept this one from getting out of hand.

From what i heard Summerville out-shot P-G 17-1 in regular time just couldn't put it away, P-G's keeper also had a great game. But Summerville held the ball 50 out 60 minutes. It was also said that P-G bunked most of the game also.

Student-of-the-game:
Summerville's JV will have those 3 players for the Wando match. Can't wait to see it. Good Luck Summerville!

Well, Summerville dominated the game...just couldn't put it away. They just missed easy opportunities throughout the game which should have been goals. Finally in overtime a nasty bike opened it up then they scored two more. Leaving P-G in the game gave them some confidence which didn't help either.
