How much do clubs charge for players to play there? If you want to PM with the amount that is fine. I was just wondering what the average club player pays. Thanks.

We played for LCSC and paid $600.00 plus $100 uniform fee. Due to coaching assignment, we are currently looking at CESA-Columbia (U-13G) and their cost is $1217.50 (I think it includes the uniform and bag). We have been asked to tryout for Congaree Rapids, but I didn't check out their fees. If you surf the web, I think most of the sites have it posted.

I'm a fan of Lower Lexington and the opportunities it's providing in a rural area (Swansea); but I'm confused. Lower Lexington was in the finals of the state challenge cup?

Classic...Challenge isn't the only State Cup, y'know!

I think it was the article "the" in "the state cup" and the term "challenge division" that confused me. Thanks.

At the same time, I might humbly and respectfully suggest that all clubs might consider carefully distinguishing this themselves. You don't want a parent who has already paid the bill learning half-way through the season that the "state cup" that LLSC was talking about is a different "state cup" than CUFC was talking about.

T'would be useful, yes. Folks do tend to assume.

The official title is Publix Presidents Medal Cup. In the U15 girls championship game, it was Columbia United 92 Palmetto 1-0 (4-2 PKs) Lower Lexington Lightning. The winners of the SCYSA Presidents Medal Cup will represent SC in the Presidents Cup Regionals, June 12-15, 2008, in Columbus, GA. Check it out here.

Good clarification coach "Paul" and by the way I ran into an old friend of yours from North Augusta. Very nice lady. However, her name escapes me.

FROM THE SCYSA WEB SITE -- Be sure to ask your preferred club what level of play they offer. My child has benefitted tremendously with CUFC from starting out at the recreational level, to the upper levels.
