WMSC 6v6 SUMMER SHOOTOUT
The World Futbol Tour is proud to announce the WMSC 6V6 Summer Shootout on May 19 hosted by the West Metro Soccer Club. This 1-day 6V6 event is a qualifier for the WFT World Cup III to be held on July 28-29, 2012 in Mooresville, NC. Teams playing in their first WFT event of the season will also become eligible to enter their State Champions Cup or nearest one geographically.
2011-12 Season News
Field sizes:
60yds X 40yds. The Penalty Area is 22yds x 8yds. Penalty Kick Spot is 30ft.
The goal size is 6 x 18ft. (6x12ft and 7 x 21ft are acceptable for local WC qualifiers)
Divisions:
Mens Open (Gold and Silver)
Mens Masters 35
Womens Open (Gold and Silver)
Womens Mastyers 30
Coed (Gold and Silver)
Qualified Teams:
Top 4 teams in each division qualify for the WFT 6v6 World Cup III
Once a team has played in a WFT event during the 2011-12 season, they are eligible to enter their State Champions Cup. If there is not a State Cup in the state, they can enter the nearest Champions Cup.
Number of games Guaranteed: 3-5 games
Match Duration: 30 minutes (1 period)
Entry Fee:
$200 per team (no t-shirt)
Late fee of $25
$6.50 processing fee
Awards: Individual and Team Awards - 1st & 2nd place teams
Roster size: 6-10 Players. A pool of 15 players can be maintained on your SincSports team page.
Team Check In: On-site: 30-45 minutes prior to you first game at the site
Cancellation Policy: Fees are non-refundable after deadline. If tournament is postponed, fees are maintained for rescheduled date or transferable to another World Futbol Tour event.

Special Note to Coaches and Parents/Spectators: It is required of everyone participating in any WFT event this season to read the Code of Conduct (parents/spectators, coaches) before each event so that we can maintain a positive environment for the players.
