Was sent this:

https://gofile.io/?c=OCT4pm

(sorry for the crappy file sharing link). My understanding is that it is a group of USAMTP coaches. But I do not know that for sure or who it would be etc.

Based on Facebook comments and the filing for the llc(by Thomas Rostin), looks like at maybe Mark Meyer, Brad Waite, Christi & TJ Rostin?

Affiliated with JIYSC.

this assumes that JI and FC Chas have applied for town of mt pleasant fields. patriots point and carolina park are already shared by at least four soccer clubs for practice and games. a few other orgs also rent. will make for less space for everyone.

If they draw from an existing club(s) than it wont be a net additional need for field space.

Certainly means the price of renting fields won't go down.

Agree, just uniform changing colors is all, not player growth. BUT scheduling with the town isn't as easy or direct as prorated allocation by player/team count at a granular level, so more demand, from different parties, will for certain add complexity in scheduling at field level. I think the author of the document is being a tad optimistic with predictions of evenings available, etc. I have no idea what we might get in the fall.

I'm just confused, looks like a (for profit) LLC operating under (affiliating with) a (non-profit) 501 c3? And I thought I was confused with Surfs' organization structure.

And how is this not an umbrella club situation (for soccer registration) which is prohibited and/or discouraged by sanctioning bodies. I imagine these players and staff will be registered with JIYSC for leagues, uniforms, etc. and if they do, will need to wear JIYSC badge, so why create a new club and not just join JI?

Guess we'll find out. Not against more options personally so wish all well.

I think this has been answered by recent developments.

Anyone know who the coaches/staff are?

Anyone have any additional info on this new club? Seems like it has been crickets.

I suppose we'll get clarity on the coaches in a week or two. One of the ones I thought was coaching for FCC just jumped back over to USAMP judging by their 02/03 coaches

I have heard he is coaching with both groups. Nothing wrong with that I guess (assuming you have the bandwidth to do it!).

By groups do you mean clubs? Can he coach for 2 US Club Soccer clubs at the same time? Or will FCC only play SCYSA or will he only register as a coach for FCC SCYSA team?

Didn't think that was allowed, but I'm not sure how it works. Happy to learn more about it, if someone knows.
