Mark,

Is your question why join, or what is the purpose of gathering the information?

That's what I get for trying to be terse! Sorry about that.

What I meant to do was to respectfully ask why CRSA is joining US Club Soccer for 2004-2005.

Why would it be important for a club to join? Can you join USYSA and US Club at the same time?

Okay -- into the silent void I shall leap...

>>[Chapindad] Can you join USYSA and US Club at the same time?<<

Yes.

>> [Chapindad] Why would it be important for a club to join?<<

Oft quoted reasons I've heard include lower registration costs [if you're not dual registering, of course], an alternative to the USYS ODP process, an alternative national championship path, the ability to move players between teams dynamically, and less bureacracy [e.g., you don't have to apply and pay for permission to cross state lines and the like.]

Would CRSA be a Dual membership club?

What is the structure is SC for US Club?

If indeed we do go forth with membership in USCS, we would still maintain our SCYSA membership.

So why would you do it? I am trying to understand because I personally see some good in just switching to US Club but I am trying to understand it from an administrators poitn of view.
