I'll be there this weekend.

Is anyone familiar with the fields? How are they?

First time at Augusta. Nice little tournament (not CASL or WAGS) but very well-run and the fields were in good shape. The Arsenal have a nice complex.

It's a great location. 75 minutes from Columbia and just over two hours from Charlotte. Downtown Marriott was very nice.

We went a couple of times five or six years ago when it was at Ft. Gordon. I have never been colder in my life. The air temp was about 40 and so was the wind. Nice tournament though.

Your post made me laugh. I was there about four or five years ago and I thought it was the coldest place on earth!

Coldest tournament I was ever at was the Icebreaker Cup in Gastonia about three years ago. Martha Rivers was like Nome.

Final was on Super Bowl Sunday and one of the teams in the championship was from Jacksonville, NC. Five-hour trip home. Parents were not happy!

In Jan. 2007, we played in the Frostbite Friendlies in Asheville. Saturday morning gametime temp. was 22.
