Liverpool 2:0 Monaco

Liverpool is back. Who needs Owen when you got Cisse? Owen didn't even play a minute against Bayer. Liverpool looks strong, beating the defending European runner-up in great fashion. I smell a triple for Liverpool.

Liverpool is not getting the triple with the like of Arsenal. Michael Owen made a bad move going to a team stacked with offensive players.

I understand; Arsenal looks unstoppable in the EPL this year. Asking for even one type of championship is pushing it. Liverpool has won only one FA Cup in the past 12 years, no ECCs since '84, and, as far as I know, hasn't won the EPL for at least the last 12 years. But I think this is the year for Liverpool to break out and get at least one championship. They made some huge changes this summer with Murphy, Owen, and Houllier gone, and adding Cisse, Josemi, and Benitez. With an impressive 2:0 win over Monaco, this looks like the solution to this drought. I just hope that Liverpool passes the test at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Zidane10, who do you support?
