In the season opener at Eugene E. Stone, III Stadium, South Carolina blanked Mercer 7-0 Friday night.
They seem to be on a roll. They usually do well at the beginning and the wheels fall off as the enter the SEC games. I do predict that they will do much better this year and if they can keep most of the players and just replace seniors then they should be set to kick a little tail next year and the year after.
