ESPN has moved coverage to ESPNU. Time Warner does not carry ESPNU. Another reason to switch to dish.
Guess I'll hit a bar.
I'm assuming the game is being broadcast live at 6:30.. correct?
Okay.. just answered my own question.
But for anyone as lazy as me. Yes, it's on ESPNU at 6:30..
Anyone know anywhere to watch the game in the Charleston area?
Probably anywhere with a dish. I know DIRECT-TV carries ESPNU.
What about in Cola? Does Wild Hare carry it?
Fan 01 - Bobby Hartin's will be showing the game in W. Ashley. It's on the corner of Cosgrove (Sam Rittenberg near the Northbridge) and Orange Grove. Cisco's is nearby. I'll be watching it there. Hope to see you there.
fight tigers, fight tigers, fight, fight, fight.
MD vs SMU is like Varsity vs B-team
..i came in just as the "goal" for SMU was scored. Pretty boring now.
25 minutes to go: MD 4 SMU 1
SMU looks brutal. Maryland is beating them to almost every 50/50 ball. I'm pulling for Clemson tonight, but think New Mexico may be too strong. We'll see, but it would speak volumes about the ACCs dominance in college soccer if we could get an all-ACC final.
I think Clemson will come out on top. They turned it on at the end of the season..they've battled through the toughest soccer conference in the nation..and they have the emotional motivation (Adair). And looking at New Mexico's schedule..I don't think they're battle tested.. plus..they're 3,000 miles from home. While Cary is just five hours East of Clemson.
20th minute
NM - 1
CU - 0
..bad/no clearence ..just..bad goal. grrr...
Goal Dane Richards ..40th minute ..extended set play from a corner..scramble..Dane puts it away
NM - 1
CU - 1
Edit:
62nd minute NW puts one in on a cross/header
NM - 2
CU - 1
..i'll be in mourning ..forever.
If you saw the last 25 seconds..you can sympathize..
Ouch, L-E! I feel for you man. The Tigers held the better end of the play for much of the match, but NM made their opportunities count. Great run by the Tigers nontheless!
That NM back line is huge. I think that play in the last 25 sec. was the first ball that we won in the air in the box. What a run though! Congratulations are in order for Adair and the Tigers.
C'mon Terrapins!
Did our own David Newton play at all or was he shown on TV? That would be cool to see someone that I've played against on national TV in such a huge game.
According to the stats, Newton isn't even on the roster for the game. Did he redshirt this year?
We noticed his absence on the bench at the Notre Dame game, although they flashed his name on the scoreboard when listing the rosters. I was wondering about it. Did David actually play at all this year?
due to many factors, David Newton and Coach Adair decided to redshirt David his freshman year. The dominance of Nathan Sturgis in the back wouldnt have allowed for much playing time for David and due to the fact hell be staying at Clemson for five years anyway (due to his major) it just seemed like a perfect fit.
Maryland 1-0 New Mexcio

Undoubtedly, the ACC is the nation's premier men's soccer conference and this Fall witnessed eight of the nine league members participate in the 48-team Men's College Cup.
