What type of money would a D-II head soccer coach expect to make?

Recent conversation led me to believe that teaching + coaching stipend is greater than their salary. Is this true?

I would be interested to know the ranges of stipends for high school coaches in SC public schools.

The head coaches seem to be doing well. But, what about the assistant coaches say at Clemson, USC, CofC, etc. In most cases they are doing most of the daily work for their respective teams. Anyone have an idea?

Thank God for camps and clubs.

Hurst... agreed...

$400/player * 400 players over the summer = $160,000

If you keep 25% after paying all coaches/facilities/insurance/etc.. $40000 in the pocket

So a coach in a smaller school making less than 50 after camps, etc...probably nets closer to 60 or 70 k.

Not too shaby...

Fan,
The greenville county school website has the pay for ALL positions within the district. I've posted it before. Go to www. greenville.k12.sc.us and click on the link to teachers. SInce this is public info. I would imagine other districts would have this as well.

Until this school year, the Anderson area was paying well below $2000 for head coaches for the Feb to April season.
