so now that we see are in the quarter finals who do u think is gonna win it all. who is looking good (ronaldinho) and just who has the best chance... im goin w/ barcalona after their games v. chelsea
Posted By: AirMaddox Re: champions league - 03/09/06 01:46 AM
im sticking with by boys from juve, although barca have looked very good....hopefully my predicition of a barca/juve final will come through.

also im 6-1 in predictions so far with the inter/ajax game to come...not too bad i would say...if only stinking liverpool would've won like they were predicted?
Posted By: Star 11 Re: champions league - 03/09/06 02:18 AM
i also said Juventus but i'm worried with the way AC Milan demolished Bayern, i don't know who to think will win it, i watched the Chelsea and Barca game and Barcelona was all over Chelsea's ( nice word ) genitals.
Posted By: Star 11 Re: champions league - 03/09/06 02:21 AM
Well i picked Liverpool, and i said if not liverpool it would be juve, hence i said juve, poor liverpool, gerrard just off injury, hyppia out, no striking force anymore, BENITEZ DONT TRY AND SIGN SIMAO, I was going to say try and reel in Henry if they lost to Real Madrid but that didn't happen so Henry will prob stay at Arsenal, i think Crouch is good, but maybes its just he doesn't have any1 to play with becuz he scores in internationals

Arsenal will take it
Posted By: ghssoccer10 Re: champions league - 03/14/06 10:50 PM
henry is the man.. i hate arsenal but love him i hope he leaves them and goes to barca or anywhere else for that matter except for chelsea or newhere else in the EPL but man utd
Posted By: Star 11 Re: champions league - 03/15/06 04:21 AM
word on the street:

Real Madrid wants Fabregas
Chelsea wants Ballack
Arsenal showing interest in Beckham
Inter Milan interested in Henry

wow, only 1 of those deals is looking like its going to happen, take a wild guess

ITS BALLACK TO CHELSEA, WTF MATE !!!!!! Chelsea is going to have a phenomenal team next year in the premier !!!!!!!!!
Posted By: AirMaddox Re: champions league - 03/17/06 03:51 AM
7 out of 8? my predictions were pretty accurate
Posted By: Star 11 Re: champions league - 03/17/06 04:38 AM
not bad airmaddox, well actually excellent lol !!!!!!!!!! not many ppl have that power [Big Grin] Liverpool is ruining everything they've worked for !!!!!!

Liverpool should sign RONALDO AND HENRY AND TRY AND GET MICHAEL TO TRANSFER !!!!!!!

Morientes is an excellent striker in Spain and Italy, not England.
Crouch is decent but he needs someone to work with
Fowler is old but he is not too shabby.

Henry is staying with Arsenal
Posted By: ghssoccer10 Re: champions league - 03/22/06 07:08 PM
henry IS NOT stayin w/ arsenal
Posted By: 442football Re: champions league - 03/25/06 07:19 PM
The French star, 28, was free to leave the club in the summer of 2007 and has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona at the end of this season.

"The truth is I love this club and I've made my mind up to stay," he told The Sun newspaper.

"I can say to all my fans and the people who care about me I want to lead the team out in the new stadium."

Arsenal will leave Highbury at the end of this season to move to the new multi-million pound Emirates Stadium at Ashburton Grove.

"The truth is this, I never spoke with or met with a single person from any other club at any time."

"There was a lot of ridiculous speculation," Henry said. "But the truth is this, I never spoke with or met with a single person from any other club at any time.

"This will put an end to all the stories. We can move on."

can some1 post the new drawings, they're on soccernet i'm just lazy [Frown] lol, if i remember right, villareal plays benfica, the crappy teams are playing each other and moving up, the big teams are playing each other, i predict some major upsets !!!
Posted By: ghssoccer10 Re: champions league - 03/26/06 02:23 AM
words like that mean nothing 442.. trust me.. players say stuff like that all the time.. it will all change when the transfer window opens.. but henry is my favorite player but i hate arsenal.. that is the only reason i want him to leave there but ill pull for HIM (not afc) either way
Posted By: MegsByMo6 Re: champions league - 03/27/06 04:21 AM
I'm gonna stick with the Gunners....they're no strangers to this quarterfinal position in the Champions League and are trophy bound...and if I had to pick a final match opponent,i'd have to go with Barcalona...but this juve matchup is not gonna be no easy advance...in the end, Viera's gonna being kicking himself in the butt for his trade to the black and whites.
Posted By: ghssoccer10 Re: champions league - 03/27/06 06:41 PM
it wasnt viera's choice to be "traded".. he felt very betrayed when he was sold to juve

The Old Lady will take Arsenal
Posted By: Star 11 Re: champions league - 03/28/06 04:17 AM
You may not agree but this is how it turns out:

Juventus ( Overall talent exceeds that of Arsenal )
Barcelona ( Same as above )
Villareal ( I just have a gut feeling that this team will pull it out, they're not a high scoring team but they don't let in too many goals either )
Lyon ( Even though i would love to see AC up there i just think that Lyon is a dominant force in the competition right now, althogh the thrashing that AC put on Bayern gives me second thoughts )

The "Old Lady" was taken behind the woodshed and splintered by Arsenal yesterday! More to come April 5 at the Stadio Delle Alpi.

HAHA! Fabregas did most of the splintering.
