Why is it going to be so good? Why does your abbreviation of "Sc" have a lower case letter? Why do they not explain exactly how they will be scored so we can choose based on individualal or team talent? Why was "The Forgotten" such a good movie to watch until the resolution?

This game is good but they are playing around with the rules. In the original rules it said you would select a whole new squad after the group stages from a revised list. You can't do that evidently. Then they said you can only have 3 players from each country. This morning if you look at the overall leader board, at the top is Cassie with some 650 points, but of you look at her squad she has 4 Argentina players in it!!!

Yes, it is flawed. Have you noticed how it does't really restrict you in anyway from just loading up on midfielders and forwards? A couple people in our league have four players from one team. Frustrating, but I'm holding down fifth place right now and in the top 4% world-wide.

I believe it also said you would get a transfer by clicking the advertising link AND you would get another transfer by e-mail. I've looked at those useless e-mails and never saw anything.

I saw the "new squad" line too and wondered if I would have to pick all the players again.

It's not the best, but seems to make it a bit easier to get out of bed in the mornings.

Is there a way to see the fantasy stats for players without having a transfer available? How many people are playing in total? I really hate that I just found out that I could have been stacking up Germans and Brazilians instead of the bad transfer picks I've chosen. Of course, my picking them would have meant that Germany and Brazil would have been eliminated in the second round. [Razz]

I hadn't thought about that, but since the World Cup is in Germany this year, then it's only appropos that our "cup" trophy recognize the Deutschland!

Let's hope we get the extra subs before the quarter finals like they said. They haven't been real good at sticking to their own rules.
We were supposed to be able to pick a whole new squad from a revised list after the group stages and not be able to have more than 3 players from any team but that went by the way side. If I had known that I would have picked differently.

Just got an e-mail from Yahoo saying

with a link that takes me to a page saying I get one additional transfer. However, my transfer count is still zero. I guess this is just a reminder that I've already received the _ONE_ additional transfer I'm going to get.

Bazza, I hope this doesn't mean we're done getting transfers. The bonus page clearly says

I think it does. They have not followed their own rules all the way through this thing. First they said you would get to select a whole new squad from a revised list after the group stages and you couldn't do that. Then they said you couldn't have more than 3 players from 1 team, now they say that because it's the knock out phase if its a transfer you can have more than 3 on one team.
Then they said you would get at least 2 transfers at each stage plus the chance to earn more.
I got 2 during the group stages, then 2 more for the round of 16. But now I can't get the 2 for the quarter finals. Like you I clicked on the e-mail and it said I had earned an extra 1 but I can't get it.
It's a neat idea but they have completely spoiled it IMO.
They are saying you will get enough transfers to have a full team on in the final but there's no way that can happen.

Yeah, well... Benp and I have enough different players that I might be able to make a try for him. I'm also in the World Soccer Daily group and want to make a run at a guy that's been taunting me about my bad transfer picks.

Well I'm sorry to say we have a new number 1 a top the league. I guess since the Dutch blew it against 9 men JI's slacked off a bit.

Congratulations to Easily Odd FC on a great comeback and Fantasy World Cup victory. I bow in defeat. But I must say:
1.) As long as Brazil is out, I�ll feel like a winner.
2.) Counting the third place game when both teams were eliminated seems a bit far fetched.
3.) I�d always rather lose than have Cristiano Ronaldo on my team.
