Renowned Charleston blacksmith Philip Simmons has been memorialized by Berkeley County School District with a trio of schools named in his honor.

Iron Horses name former Stratford HS assistant soccer coach Brion Packett Athletic Director

The Berkeley County high school will open in August, 2017 in the Cainhoy Peninsula near the Wando River. It is located on Clements Ferry Road.

Congratulations Brion and looking forward to welcoming this school to the Cainhoy peninsula in 2017.
I couldn't be more proud of Brion. It was a pleasure to work with him and I'm proud to call him a friend. The passion he will bring to the job will be unparalleled.
An AD that is a former soccer job will be great for whoever they hire to start the soccer program.
