A total of 286 soccer teams (112 boys, 174 girls) from throughout the United States have earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for exemplary performance in the classroom as a team during the 2019-20 academic year. Among these programs are 28 schools receiving honors for both their boys and girls teams. Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC) was the only South Carolina high school to earn this distinction.
