What an idiot!! He contradicts himself by saying he yelled "hey batter batter" in the outfield as a way to make time go by.
There is too much action in soccer for players to try and figure out something to do to "make time go by"

His kids must play in one of those leagues where they try to balance the teams artifically, and play everyone who shows up for the game - even if they did not come to practice. This guy just does not have a clue, and apprently has way too much time on his hands.

I like the way he touts baseball as a better model for sports and then says girls are "too smart to waste an entire day" playing it. Gotta love a tough, demanding sport where the athletes actually spend more time and effort standing around spitting sunflower seeds than doing any real physical activity.
