Hard fought game and hats off to Dreher as they played hard the entire game. They have a lot of young talent and will be a force when they get healthy.

Greenwood won 9-8 in Pks on the 9th shooter. First time Westside has ever held Greenwood scoreless. First time Westside has ever taken Greenwood to overtime or PKs in the program's history.

These two teams meet again on May 6th to determine the 3rd and 4th seed in Region I. The first tie-breaker is head to head goals, the second is goals against in the region. To date, Greenwood has allowed 2 fewer goals in region play. Greenwood still has (Hanna, Easley, and Westside), Westside still has (Laurens, Hanna, and Greenwood). The 4th seed most likely gets Mauldin first round, the 3rd seed earns a trip to Dorman. What a gift!

The cheer was "how did we win, the devil made us do it" which is exactly the same cheer Airport received when Dreher won in previous years. There was no bad sportmanship, and no goal was kicked out of the keepers hands. I have the upmost respect for Coach Morris also and I know inappropriate behavior from players would not be tolerated.

That is what I thought. I have personally witnessed Dreher do the same cheer after winning a game against Airport and other teams numerous times.... I guess some people have short memories.
