Pinewood must have sat most of their starters. There is no way that the Ashley Hall team that played at HHP on Wednesday could have beaten the Pinewood team that played at HHP on Thursday.
It is my understanding that you are exactly correct (5 starters), however Ashley Hall still played a great game. Ashley Hall was in the right place at the right time and took advantage of the situation. They deserve the credit for sure.
