I heard that the Allison girl from Riverside was not even nominated for All State. Wow, I saw her play twice this year. I thought she was the most doninate player on the field in the games I saw.

when the nominations were posted last week for all state her name was not on it.riverside had 3 nominations and 2 of them were chosen.

Players getting nominated/selected for region/state/poy is not a perfect process as it has been documented on here over the years. Many factors are considered other than player’s ability/productivity/skill on the pitch. Grades, upperclassman, effort, coach’s favorite, being a great person, etc., can be factors. The best player is sometimes not selected.
