Since it now appears Wando will be the Top Point Getter, it would seem fair they play Farragut (if they advance), and thus get the "Bye" to the Final.

plus Wando/Farragut would be the best possible matchup of the remaining games?

Yes, it looks to be Fort Mill in as the wildcard representative. A draw between B-C and Bishop England would result in a max of six points for both squads. Bishop England would then advance as group winner.

Seems like based on what it says above Farragut will play in 8:30 game no matter what and since 8:30 was supposed to be #1 it makes sense that Wando play Farragut!

To me, it seems a bit strange that Brookland Cayce (the host of the tournament) was given the easiest "road" to the semis. It is unfair to some of the quality teams in the tournament (ie Norman North) that they are put into a group with three top 7 nationally ranked teams.
By failing to prepare, you prepare to fail.

Scenarios for Saturday's Match Schedule UNOFFICIAL AT THIS TIME:
*** Due to Farragut's Prom on Saturday night, Farragut will play at 8:30 am.
Semifinals 8:30 am (Semifinal #1) - Wando (29 pts.) vs. Farragut (25 pts.) 10:30 am (Semifinal #2) - Bishop England (22 pts.) vs. Fort Mill (21 pts.) 12:30 pm (11th Place) - Chapin (2 pts.) vs. Pinewood Prep (1 pt.) 2:00 pm (9th Place) - Walhalla (4 pts.) vs. TBD 3:30 pm (7th Place) - TBD 5:00 pm (5th Place) - Northwestern vs. TBD 6:45 pm (Championship)- Winner Semifinal #1 vs. Winner Semifinal #2
Note: Should Farragut defeat Wando, Farragut will be the tournament champions. Wando will then play in the 6:45 pm match to determine second place.
Most scenarios have Cardinal Newman vs. Walhalla in the 9th place match, Brookland-Cayce vs. Norman North in the 7th place match, and Northwestern vs. Christ Church in the 5th place match.

You are quite entitled to your views.
First off, Norman North and Farragut specifically asked to play the best possible competition -- as they have done every year.
Second, the tournament schedule begins to take shape shortly after the season ends. It is then tweaked and refined as teams add and drop out throughout the fall and early spring.
Finally, the overall quality of the teams in this tournament is such where there are no guaranteed wins or cakewalk matches. These teams contend for their respective state championships year-in and year-out.
Please look over the 18 year history of this event and the brackets as they have played out. You might be surprised to find that B-C does not shy away from playing anyone in this tournament event.

While I understand and appreciate the desire to return for a school function, it seems a bit presumptive that the other Semi-Final winner may not have a chance of winning the tournament. Sound like a BCS spillover!
