Breaking news out of the MPSC program: the classic/challenge teams now have a standard uniform for practice. Should your child not have the proper uniform on, they will not be allowed to practice starting today.

Whew....and I thought we would make it through the Fall season with nothing great to talk about out of the lowcountry.

Kickbacks from uniform vendors, or a socially responsible attempt to boost the recession economy by increasing mandatory spending? You decide.

Sorry...couldn't resist.

Man, I hated any attempt to make mandatory practice uniforms take hold. I paid good money for all my tournament tshirts...where else was I gonna wear them?! lol

Personally, I like the idea of the uniform practice look. It makes it much easier for dividing players into teams (only one/two sets of vests needed usually) and has a professional look to it. I think this is a good move for MPSC!

I think you will find this is standard in many places.

All a matter of perspective...just depends on whether you're the administration mandating the uniforms or the player/parent who has to pony up and buy them. It's easy to cite the benefits of a practice when it's someone else who has to actually pay for or implement it. Just ask anyone in public education!

uniforms....we don't need no stinking uniforms....

we need effort, a ball and kids to play. who cares what they play in.

Heck when the "trio" headed over seas on an all expenses paid excursion/training the kids started playing shoeless. I almost called Tom from Tom's Shoes to see if we could start getting the free pairs sent to Mt P for the soccer program.

MPSC does a great job of alienating parents and kids - that is why 1/2 of Bridge & DISA are MP kids.

Just give them some time and they will be getting some different leaders - one of their DOC's already quit once.

Why bring public education into it when we cannot find anyone to spell Flamboyant correctly.
