The newest proposal is out from the SCHSL for realignment. The proposal has been sent to the AD's and Head Football coaches last week.
The coaches from all of the sports should get a copy and review this asap.
For some regions, the realignment makes sense. But for many, it could be a disaster.
In my particular case, Bamberg-Ehrhard would increase its travel by adding 3 schools more than 80+ miles away for each game.

Looks like the Lancaster football/AD people have some pull in the state. How do they not go back into a region they just left????? Oh, I know, so that football can avoid NW, Clover, Gaffney, Rock Hill, and Spartanburg!!!!!

How do Spartanburg and Dorman end up in two different regions? I know it happened in R3 4A with Northwestern/Rock Hill/South Pointe, but that was three schools.

I've always thought Spartanburg and Dorman were "joined at the hip", am I wrong? Is Boiling Springs HS just as much a part of the "Spartanburg Community" as Spartanburg & Dorman HS?

We just found out yesterday in our local newspaper that not only is Spartanburg moving out, but now Boiling Springs is out of our Region as well. Go figure!

Jerome apparently can't make up his mind. Boiling Springs back with Dorman, Lancaster back in with Rock Hill, NW, etc.

I'm in Spartanburg right now. Just saw a couple of UT coeds hopping into a vehicle with Tennessee tags. Had an "Orange Pride" sticker on the bumper.

They looked tired. Must have had a long week.
