...or what's the toughest region of girls soccer this year?

Always have to consider the region with Mauldin, Dorman, Byrnes, Spartanburg, etc. as one of the toughest. They can all win their first round tournament games. Should be the same this year.

Region V 3A is solid with Swansea, BC, s. aiken, and Airport. Dreher is usually good as well.

sc girls hs soccer seems to be made up of the haves & have nots.
the reg seasons majority are made up of mismatches...but thats probably girls high school sports in general.

I would have to disagree with Region V 3A. South Aiken and Airport are very strong programs, but Dreher??? Respectfully, I believe that Dreher has been going down hill in the past couple years.

Sweeper, you named 3 out of the 5 teams in this region. Swansea and Brookland-Cayce are also in the same region and both pulled out victories over the Lower State Champions, South Aiken. Dreher I would say is improving, they beat Swansea once last year and had close games with every team they played in the region.

I say Region V 3A all the way. Don't know how much longer it will be though, but I expect great things coming from this region this year.

Haha, you're in it Holt! You'll come out of regular season as prepared as anyone! I also enjoy watching R5 in Quad A.

Gotta agree with Young, Holt. Region V 3A packs a punch. Bonus this season - you get to play 10 region matches now that MVHS has established a program. Best of to you and the girls.
