Pinewood v CN was a very good game. Pinewood lost a starter on the double yellow (bizarre h.s. rule), and CN played without three starting players due to injuries and one being at US national team camp. Obviously, with the game going to p.k.s it was a real nail biter. Both teams have skilled players, and a lot of heart. A fun game to watch -- could have gone either way. I agree that the next game between these two will be worth watching.

Terrible news about the ACL and broken foot Alex sustained. I know all of his school and CESA 92 teammates wish him the very best. Alex is a tough player and one of the most talented right backs you'll see play the game. If anyone can mount a complete recovery from this it's this young man.

the pp v cn game - i can see getting a yellow for wasting time if you are winning, but you cant really be wasting time if your team is losing. who got the straight red in that match and what for?

Word on the street is that Joey Schiano of Cardinal Newman actually bribed the referees with 3 free slices of Schiano's pizza, thus resulting in the two red cards that were given to the Pinewood players. I don't blame the referees, that's an offer you can't pass up, but common couldn't they be a bit more professional. hope the ref's can get their act together and that Joey can just play fair. Are you sure it was pizza? I heard it was rare duck bacon, a surefire Italian Stallion delicatessen found on the golden hills of florence. I ate Schiano's Pizza the other day and oh boy oberto i thought i could fly, its like Papa Johns and Little Ceasers had a baby, initially named him mario, but realizing greatness was only attainable with the name Schiano. so after heavy court debates, Attorney Harrison Wayner obtained the name change, and the world of pizza would forever be changed.

On a less serious note, it has come to my attention that tighty Whities are now a mandatory dress code for scisa players due to Robert Beebe's slick coercion of Scisa officials threatening to save their son's PK shots in due time. I think this is outrageous especially for St Josephs who we have come to find have a tradition of wearing unwashed silk boxers with their names embroidered acoss the back. How will this effect team Chemistry?? Is this an advantage for Pinewood, a team notorious for Tighty Whities, I mean come on who are they fooling??? THEY ARE SPONSORED BY HANES UNDERPANTS!

Any thoughts?

Just returned from MRI where results showed it is a torn ACL. Game way way out of hand and the refs had no control. Burnikel personally had 3 yellow cards against him. He also broke his foot earlier in the game. He will have surgery next week and be back hopefully end of August.
