any word on who will be winthrop's new coach?

when will clemson's announce their 2010 recruiting class? any players from SC going to play at clemson?

The word on the Georgia Soccer forums is that Eric Faulconer, who is the coach of Armstrong Atlantic has been offered the position. Most posters feel he will turn it down. He is a very good coach and would be a great fit. His DII program would probably beat most Big South teams, but his situation at AASU is very good. Most people I have spoken with feel he won't leave AASU.

Clemson - I had the chance to talk with Hershey Strosberg about his recruiting class and he has a great read on where he needs to be. First class person, communicative, the real deal. He knows that he needs to recruit kids who can compete in the ACC which I believe is the toughest conference in the nation.

Believe Morgan Hurt from Mauldin has signed with them or will on signing day. Believe there are a couple of other SC girls in the mix.

I'll say this - any coach or dad would be proud to have his daughter play for Hershey.

I always liked Mel Heinz too. She coached my daughter at Clemson camp one year and really seemed to know her stuff. Too bad winning is everything in college.
