In response to CJ, TL Hanna played a great game vs Westside and has some amazing young talent in Kylie Miller (9th), Chelsea Drennon (9th), and Katie Bryan (10th). All three were dominant in the attacking third. The Lady Jackets are fielding the most complete team they have ever put on the field, and CJ has his girls playing some very attractive soccer!
Westside sophomore Kari Edmondson collapsed after the game and was unresponsive for awhile before being taken to the ER. Results came back positive on all major tests, and she was talking, walking, and able to eat by midnight. The doctor said probable causes were dehydration and exhaustion.
Thanks go out to the TL Hanna training staff and everyone else who cared for her until the ambulance arrived.
It is in moments of crisis that a coach realizes how insignificant the result of a match is, when compared to the health of the kids under his care.
