Is anyone else in strong disagreement with the week 8 rankings?
For instance,
In 4A:
Irmo had a great weekend with wins and ties to top ranked teams yet they are only 15th.
Blythewood ties the then #4 team, T. L. Hanna, and beats the then #12 team by 4 goals and beats the 3A #9 team 3-1. I don't understand how they moved from their 9 spot all the way to 12th.
West Florence has a few quality wins but if you take a look at their schedule, the vast majority of the teams they play are not ranked and they moved from 13th in the state to 11th.
3A:
Airport stays at #9 in the state even after a 3-1 loss to 4A's #9 and a harsh loss to South Aiken.
Maybe I'm just curious about nothing, but for me at least, these rankings just don't add up this week.
