This story should be a reminder to everyone how precious our freedom and security is. Dennis knows this from his real life experience. Thank you for sharing.

What a story! Dennis is an amazing young man. Kristi is one of the nicest ladies I know. Helena and Caleb are amazing too! I am glad everyone has now heard this story. We are truly blessed here in the United States and this story shows that. Maybe Hollywood will swoop this story up and make it a movie!

I'm already on it sG as I've sent the thread and story on to a well connected contact of mine. Maybe this person, whom we all know, will be inspired to produce the movie.

This is one of the best human interest stories I have ever had the pleasure of reading. In my brief encounters with Dennis, he has been nothing short of exemplary and that is a definite reflection on the Northwestern HS soccer program, because with folks like Ozzie Ahl, Dom Wren, Cesar Robles, Michael Chumah, David Benson, etc., involved in young men's lives then you cannot go wrong. Kudos to the Trojans' program - coaches, players, and supporters!

This is a sad and amazing story. Here is another sad but great soccer story also taking place in Liberia done by ESPN.

We can always use "a little more good".
