Do anyone know how the tryouts went yesterday? Was there any standouts?

Freiburger gets my vote for best player on the 18s. Interesting that Wegrzyn was only in the player pool and not on the roster. Also, did Millard get to tryout before he went abroad or is he a defacto placement due to national team status? Is it true Jaramillo is going to Irmo HS next year? Could someone put the HS teams that these guys play with?

Millard was at the tryout in Mt P. I am sure he showed enough for the staff to pick him. He has started two games in Argentina for the 15s. Am I sure that puts him a decent position to make the team.

Congratulations to the players selected for main roster and pool. See http://www.scunitedda.com/PlayerPool/index_E.html

Nice to have the club/locaton of each player that Will and Kyle gave.

Representing the Low Country - In the 16s know of :

Ft. Dorchester -
Eads
L'Amereaux
Jaramillo

Wando/MPSC:
Carlin
Danna
Eskinazi
Jablonski
King
Wichmann

Couple of notable players surprisingly didn't make pool. Thought that Allen Scott from Columbia and Steven Mitchell from MPSC would have made that list. Still good group all around. Well done.

When did the Lexington/White Knoll area become part of the Lowcountry? Lower State, maybe, but Lowcountry?

With the ways these clubs aren't "merging" (roll eyes) and the way the old CSC has now become the largest club in the state and how it is devouring all these other clubs in the state, I am wondering, if they continue to grow at the rate they are growing and assimilate other clubs into their collective, will someone try to bring an anti-trust suit against them for a monopoly?

Just a thought
