Regardless of the outcome of Monday's Lower State Semifinal match, I think Dutch Fork's Jovan Brdarski deserves consideration as coach of the year for Region 5-AAAA if not all of AAAA. Consider the following:
- First year coach not hired until December
- Only 3 starters returned from last year's team
- Young team with only 1 senior
- 16-3-1 record to date
- Region 5-AAAA co-champions and first seed
- Lower-state finalists

Nice props Coach..
I also would like those to consider Ashley Ridge's Mark Weaver in AA.
A second year program that has turned the corner real fast..
Playing pretty much with the same squad from the first year and putting up big numbers and also pulling in their first round playoff win..
Next year it's off to 4A..I think he will surprise some there too.

Coach P hard to beat those points. Looks like DF is heading in the right direction..Good hire for the Foxes.

AR is definitely a team to watch--Coach Weaver has developed a very dangerous squad. Good skills, good tactics, and the composure to turn an early deficit into a decisive win.
