We fade into the sunset. No dog in the fight this year. As the gamecocks say "wait till next year".

No need to hang your head yet, Patriot. There are perhaps two good confidence-building opportunities coming up. Your coach and team will figure out in time which formation will be best. Both goals were scored after your #22 was moved out of defense... You lost against a Greenville team that did not find the right positions for every player until last night. Finally! Replacing 9 players from last year and put the young ones in the right spots took us some time.

Good clean game between both teams last night. Easy to officiate. It was not always like that. Anyway, there is probably still some room to increase the intensity and yet have good sportsmanship. Go Patriots!

Second game in a row where FM has had to step up and fill a hole left when a starter was sidelined. Hopefully they will soon get all the parts of the machine running together . Mark of a good team though when you can step up and fill the voids left by solid players being out. In a long season teams have to be able to face those situations and come out with some positive results.

Oh, and gotta credit NHS for pushing the game to the limit, best result for them against FM for several years! Looks like they are puttting together a nice run there! Good job coach!

Some interesting player substitutions/swaps. Wonder what the coaches are thinking. Striker as goalie and so forth. Granted the game was decided early but why not see what other attacking and defensive pairings you have on your team. Never too early to plan for player loses next year.
