Rock Hill travels to Northwestern tonight, HUGE game for both and HUGEEEE derby. I say NHS wins 2-0, Ricardo Garbanzo and Kevin Ray get the goals.

Welp, the cats out of the bag now! NW is down this year. Not to say they cannot do well this season, but they obviously have a lot of work to do. Not to make excuses, but Rickardo Garbanzo was injured the majority of the game and only played a few minutes. That said, NW's defense still conceived 4 goals. But Ricky may have kept it closer. Let's not just say NW is over rated tho...Rock Hill is a good team and Fernando Gonzalez is a great forward. They might make some noise this year. Regardless of what happens, THERE'S STILL ONLY ONE NORTHWESTERN! LET'S GO TROJANS!

While NHS may be less of a team this year, SG is right Rock Hill is also much better this year. Fernando is very good but he also has some very good players around him.

On a side note who would have thought going into the games this weekend at MM it would have been the Rock Hill vs South Point that was the division leaders game and not the FM vs NHS?

Just wanted to set the record straight for some inaccurate information in the Herald's article.
It was actually not a 30 year drought, but a 30 game drought. The last time the Bearcats beat the Trojans was in the 94 season and the score was 2-1. This was part of a 2 year and 4 game stretch in 93 and 94 that Rock Hill had the upper hand in the series. Northwestern now leads the series with 46 wins, Rock Hill 13 wins, and 4 ties.

Nice win for RH. York County has seen some good soccer this year. More to come this weekend in the Manchester Cup.
